Founded in 1973, the company changed in line with market requirements from a provider of river cruises into a renowned shipping company. Today, the company is a preferred partner of big charterers and major tour operators of Europe and beyond.
Since its foundation in 1973 SCYLLA AG numbers among the pioneers and trend-setters in the river cruising business. The shipping routes were expanded from the Rhine gradually to cover all important waterways across Europe. Ships of the SCYLLA fleet were the first to cruise the waters of the Main-Danube-Canal as well as on the Po in Italy. The size of the fleet has also grown continuously.
