If you are over 21 years, speak a foreign language: English, German or Spanish, are in good physical and mental health, have no previous criminal convictions, have completed your high school education, have no tattoos in visible places and have sufficient experience in the field you are applying for ….then we here at A to Z Manning can assist you in taking your career on the Surf to Success!

TAKE NOTE!  This is not a working holiday, but a professional employment opportunity.  You are permanently employed by the cruise ship company on a contract basis and depending on the Company , contracts and conditions differ.  Because of the growth of the cruise industry there is often internal promotions.  We offer you the first step, from there, where you take your career is in your own hands.

How to Apply:

We are screening all year round, which means you can apply any time.  Once you are in our database we will inform you of future interviews, of course if you are suiting the positions offered by our Partners.  Please send an updated Resume (CV) in English with reference details and a recent photo.  This will assist us in our screening process.

The most efficient method of applying is if you visit our office directly to hand in your application documentation.  Please call prior to set up an appointment, especially if you are from out of Varna City.  We are open from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Mondays to Fridays.  In this way we can immediately pre-screen your language capabilities and recommend you for a future opportunity.

Application Documentation:

Prior to presenting you for final interview with one of our Partners , we require the below list of documentation from each Candidate.

  • Passport size photo x2    (recent, taken in the last 6 months)
  • Up-to-date CV in English
  • A to Z Manning Application Form
  • Copy of your Educational Diploma
  • Original Police Clearance
  • Copy of International Passport
  • References from previous Employers (if you have any)
  • Certificates (if you have completed any)

All documentation needs to be prepared in English language. You can have them prepared by a Translation Agency of your choice or we can assist you through a Partnering company directly.  You cannot translate these documents by yourself!  All the above documentation is required prior interview unless otherwise informed by you’re A to Z Manning Team.

Interview Selection

A to Z Manning reserves the right to review and select any individual who applies at their discretion, and invite them to an initial interview, if suitable for any of the positions our Partners have to offer.  When we receive a confirmed date for interview from one of our Partners, we will first send an email invitation to our Candidates.  Those who reply to confirm, will be included into the interview short list and be individually invited for interview with further details on location, date and time.

Interviews

Interview dates are depending on the needs of our Partners and take place all year round.  When we have an upcoming interview, you can review posted advertisements as well as a posting on the home screen of our website with more details.  Interviews are held directly in person with a representative from our hiring Partner.  Usually results are received immediately or depending on the Partner a day or 2 later directly or via email.  From the moment of being hired to the moment of boarding the ship there will be a waiting period.   The employment pool of our bigger cruise ship partners is based on a 3 to 5 month notice.  Therefore you may expect to begin employment in this time frame.  In any event it shall not exceed 6 months.  However, we highly recommend you do not give up your current employment.

Preparation prior Boarding

The A to Z Manning Team and our Partners, offer assistance in all processes required prior boarding.  Depending on the Partners, these requirements may differ.  These requirements may consist of, but are not limited to the following:  Pre-Employment Medicals, one way flight tickets, C1/D visas, Safety Training Certification, Seamen’s Passports are among some of the requirements prior boarding.  We will ensure each of our successful candidates receives the required assistance in a timely.  We thank you for Trusting our Agency with your Future and wish you Success, Luck & a Bon Voyage!
